The Facial and FaceLift are all-natural, non-surgical techniques that leaves patients looking more youthful for longer than traditional procedures. The Facial and Facelift works through the use of platelet rich plasma (PRP). These procedures use your own blood to stimulate your cells to regenerate. The serum is activated with calcium chloride. This mixture contains growth factors used to stimulate uni-potent (native) stem cells, fibroblasts, collagen, and blood vessels. Activated PRP causes tissue repair and has an anti-aging effect. PRP has been used successfully and safely for many years to treat joint injuries in orthopedics and to speed recovery in oral surgery. In the field of plastic surgery, it has been used in healing wounds in burn patients and diabetics who are often prone to non healing sores and wounds.

During the Facelift, the PRP is injected into the problem areas of the skin, smoothing out wrinkles and correcting the shape of the face.
The effects of the procedures should be noticed within 3 weeks. with a full effect around 3 months. The results can last up to two years, but vary with each individual.
*Individuals with the following conditions are not good candidates for the PRP Facial:
Scleroderma, collagen vascular diseases or cardiac abnormalities; blood clotting problems, active bacterial/fungal infection; immune-suppression; women who are pregnant or nursing.
*Individuals with the following may not be good candidates for the PRP Facial:
Keloid scars; history of eczema, psoriasis and other chronic conditions; history of actinic keratosis; history of herpes simplex infections; history of diabetes; prescence of raised moles, warts on targeted area.

HOW DOES THE PRP FACELIFT PROCEDURE WORK?
Blood is drawn from the arm in the same way as with any blood test. Then, using a centrifuge and a special method, platelet rich plasma is isolated the resultant growth factors. A numbing cream is applied liberally to the face. Using a very thin needle, the growth factors are injected into the face. Once injected, the platelets immediately activate the body’s localized stem cells and begin rejuvenating and revitalizing the skin on the face. The procedure is very tolerable with minimal discomfort and little to no downtime.
